A very warm welcome to Tany’s Dell Primary School and Nursery. I am incredibly proud to be part of our vibrant, happy and caring school, where children are firmly at the heart of everything we do. Tany’s Dell is a very special place - a school where children are encouraged to be curious, confident and kind, where everyone is valued for who they are, and where every child is supported to discover and celebrate their own unique strengths.
Our school has a proud history. Tany’s Dell was the first school to open in the new town of Harlow in 1952, and since then we have continued to grow and develop alongside the community we serve. We have recently joined NET academies Trust, which has strengthened our offer further. We now work closely with the other schools in our Trust to get the very best for all our children. While we are proud of our heritage and traditions, we are equally excited about the future and the opportunities we can provide for the next generation of children.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school with a strong, close-knit family feel. Our dedicated staff take the time to really get to know every pupil, building positive relationships and working closely with families to understand and meet each child’s individual needs. We want every child to feel safe, happy, listened to and confident to be themselves.
At Tany’s Dell, we believe that every child has the potential to shine. We have high expectations for all our pupils and encourage them to dream big, embrace challenges and always keep reaching for the stars. We want our children to believe in themselves, to recognise their own potential and to strive to excel in everything they do.
Whether they are discovering a new passion, overcoming a challenge, making new friends or celebrating an achievement, we are here to encourage and support them every step of the way. Our aim is for every child to leave Tany’s Dell with a love of learning, wonderful memories, confidence in their abilities and the belief that they can achieve great things.
