KEEP SAFE AND WELL AT TANY'S DELL
It has been a real pleasure seeing all the children back in school. They have settled in beautifully and are ready to learn. The teachers and all support staff are working extremely hard to ensure we keep everybody safe - please see the risk assessment below.
Even though we're not allowed to sing 'Reach for the Stars' at the moment, I can see the children are already doing just that. Their behaviour is excellent, and their work ethic is also brilliant, so I just wanted to thank you for all your support with this. I also wanted to say thank you for being so patient whilst we try to work out the best ways of keeping everyone safe before and after school. We've made a few changes to the start and end of day procedures, which are working well. We may have one or two more tweaks but we'll get there in the end. Please remember to wear your face covering when in close proximity of the school.
The government have prepared a useful video to help us all understand more clearly, the need to wash hands, wear face coverings and keep two metres apart. Please click on the link to watch the 2 minute video. https://vimeo.com/455704121/01b3eea402

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Tany’s Dell Primary School and Nursery. Our motto ‘Reach for the Stars’, is rooted in British Values and is at the heart of everything we do. The word REACH reminds us to aspire to be the very best we can be in all our endeavours, and the word STARS is all about being star citizens, caring for and respecting ourselves and others. As a community, we celebrate the gifts and talents that each person brings and respect the uniqueness of each individual.
Our children tell us that their lessons are fun. Our exciting curriculum engages pupils and promotes all areas of academic, personal, social and physical development. In addition to this, our lovely school building and spacious grounds are assets that make it a wonderful place for children to explore and learn.
We value the home-school partnership and love it when parents and carers come in to school for both formal events and informal activities.
I hope you enjoy your journey through the website and discover how we all try to make Tany’s Dell Primary School and Nursery, the very best place to develop and learn!
